Biography

Natasha Tsakos is a Swiss-Greek-Tropical showmaker who has spent twenty-five years inventing theatrical languages for environments that did not yet have them. She has created and performed across six continents, from TED and the Super Bowl with Cirque du Soleil to the G20 Summit, Discovery Channel, and Tribeca Film Festival, and speaks globally, including at the United Nations General Assembly and Google, on how art shapes innovation.

She is the founder of Space Wonders, the first theatrical company for space. Humanity is moving off the planet, and that is as much a human adventure as an engineering one. Space Wonders exists to pioneer the next hundred years of how we create beyond Earth: building the cultural layer of the commercial space age, and bringing a new generation on Earth into science and discovery through theatrical adventure.

Its flagship, PARABOLES, is the first research-driven multimedia performance in microgravity, now in production. NASA-trained, a graduate of MIT's New Space Economy program, and a member of the AIAA Gravity-Dependent Science and Technology Committee, Tsakos builds work conceived in weightlessness and returned to Earth as cinema, installation, research, and wonder.

In Natasha's words

“We're inventing a new industry: theatrical experiences for space environments, felt on Earth. Thank you, OSV, for backing the misfits who insist humanity's next chapter be filled with wonder.”
